The problem
Client onboarding often depends on a checklist spread across email, folders, project tools, and someone’s memory. Missing one step creates a poor first impression and delays delivery.
The workflow
This n8n-based prototype starts from a confirmed engagement and coordinates the repeatable setup tasks while keeping sensitive or judgment-based steps with a person.
Example sequence
- Validate the client and engagement record.
- Create the project workspace and approved folder structure.
- Generate the internal onboarding checklist.
- Prepare the welcome message and information request.
- Notify the owner of anything incomplete or exceptional.
Current state
The core workflow is functional as a portfolio prototype. Production use would require adaptation to the client’s exact tools, permissions, templates, and data-retention rules.
